You can freeze eggs - mix them like you would for scrambling, put into ice cube trays and stick in the freezer. Once frozen, put them into Ziploc bags. I've read that 2 "ice cubes" equal approximately 1 egg. Of course, since we're getting 18 per day (126 per week), we don't need to freeze any! :lol:
I didn't know that! But since we only get 2 a day and we're a family of 4 our eggs don't stick around.

That buff hen is very pretty. I can't have any roosters(not that I want one) here in a subdivision. But, in the future I'd love an Americauna just for the blue eggs as a novelty. Though, I hear they don't lay near as well as R.R. There are so many cool breeds.
