I like imagining sitting around a large table having a feast and talking quilting/sewing with all my ancestors finding out how they quilted and when they learned to quilt. Being a newbie to quilting I'm really fascinated by the rich history of quilting. My Dad has 2 quilts (he's 84)... one was done by his grandmother and the other by his mother...so they're pretty old!!! Would love to meet the fine women who made them and hear what life was like for them way back when!!!

Besides that, underneath the tree I'd like some soft worn denim (from old jeans) and old men's cotton shirts so I can make some quilts for my 3 sons.
