I went to a catered luncheon at work and they had the best mashed sweet potatos! It almost tasted like pumpkin pie.
I could smell cinnamon but that's all I could figure out.
I've never eaten sweet potatoes before, if you can believe that. My parents, in-laws etc are strictly white potato folks. So I was really surprised how good they were.
I want to make them for the holidays.
I've googled and found several recipes but some require eggs, but some don't, alot say add marshmallows although I didn't see any in the meal I had.
I'm not sure which recipe would be what I'm looking for.
Do any of you have a favorite mashed sweet potato recipe that tastes almost like pumpkin pie?
