Hey cc bear! I'm currently doing a d9p. I like the scrappier look to it so I have 6 different fabrics I am working with. Well I like the controlled scrappy look I should say. I think the best part about this pattern is you can do it whichever way you like a get different effects. Maybe try drawing it out with colored pencils to get a better idea of what a few blocks would look like first and then you can decide from there if you'd like to introduce another color in.
