before surgery tomorrow. This is the throw quilt I am making for our 9 yo son. It's just his size 48" x 55" for cold winter mornings before school. :-D I will sandwich it tonight and work as hard as I can to quilt some of it before my reconstructive knee surgery tomorrow morning. I have several projects that I will be sewing the bindings on and taking paper off of my New York Beauty project during my recovery when I can't be at my machine. I really wanted to stay as busy as possible, it's going to be hard being out of my sewing room. I'm not one to lay around, but I'm sure my knee will dictate that I just stay comfortable.
