Wear and tear; that's ridiculous! That's what sewing machines are made for, use. What difference does it make if you are wearing out your sewing machine or some fancy box you paid too much for to wind bobbins? I still just don't get you people. You are talking about winding a bunch of bobbins with the sidewinder; you can wind a bunch of bobbins ahead with your sewing machine, and save the money you spent on the sidewinder, to buy fabric.
