Here are the haiku chosen for this exhibit:

"This rainy morning/blue bearded iris wears/a necklace of pearls."

"Waves toss white spume high/belly of that pelican/must be cold today."

The images are: "Into the unknown"... as a quilter, we stretch the boundaries of our imagination to create new worlds, new beauty.

"Hope".. I found this small flower growing on top of Masada, in Israel. Even in that arid desolation, the flower had the strength to grow, the hope to persevere. In our quilting, we definitely need strength... and hope. And, I believe, we imbue
our work with these qualities.
