I don't know what the big deal is with insulbrite it is NOT oven proof or HEAT proof. Google it it says so with the description. It is poly and adds insulation and you still have to use batting along with it. I would rather use 2-3 layers of 100% cotton batting and that wouldn't melt if it gets too hot.
