I think the bargello detracts from the pheasant panels because it seems really big and busy in comparison. The pheasant panel is overwhelmed.
The bargello would be an awesome backing for the pheasants, though.
Beautiful color choices, and I agree that the bargello takes away from the panel. I'd use some of the colors to frame the panel, and save the bargello for the backing or as another quilt or wall hanging.
