This would also be a good place to stuff all of your small/minute fabric scraps at the bottom of the of the container. It would make a solid base to put the ball of fiber fill/cotton batting on top of -- And it would be a green thing to do because it would use up all the confetti scraps that are unusable for quilting.

Right now I am making a block that you cut off the littlest triangles off of the corners and it is just killing me that I throw these away. I keep feeling that I should use them somehow because of all the pretty colors. I know some people put them in glass jars, I think they call them 'confetti jars'.

I love making pincushions and have wondered about putting a layer of steel wool under the batting to sharpen your pins. Has anyone else tried this? :?:
