We recently got new carpet in our family room and told the granddaughters (ages 3 and 5) no one can wear their shoes in there now. They have become the official "shoe patrol" at our house and don't care who it is...they've even toldus, our friends and their other grandpa "NO SHOES ON THE CARPET"!
The other night Papa was talking to the 5 yr old and asked her how much she loved him...she held up her fingers about 4 inches apart...he was all happy and smiles and asked for a hug...then she said "but I love Nana this much" and held up both arms as wide apart as she could get them...we both busted up laughing. She's a Nana's girl for sure!
