I just like to hang a curtain rod on the wall and use those clips with the rings to hand my quilts. Then I don't have to put a hanging sleeve on and it's really easy to swap out the quilt when I get tired of the one hanging, or I finish a new one I want to hang. You are very fortunate to have a husband that does such beautiful work, so maybe he could make you a shelf with a long closet pole and then put the rings with the clips on that.
