Welcome, a good place to try for fabric is often charity shops - here in Australia we have Good Samaritans, St Vincent De Pauls, RSPCA and have noticed a couple of others opened around the area. There is also the possibility of buying cotton clothing and using that, (purchased from the charity shops as well)
