I have a bunch of old ones from the 80's and early 90's. I've taken quite a few ideas from them, especially for blocks. There are the templates, etc. all labeled as A,B or C. but then in the instructions it describes how to prepare the fabric and then just says "Assemble the block"! Hmmm, I want to know how! Tell me to sew A to B and if it needs a partial seam. You get the idea. But looking through all these old maga that seems to be the way they all are. So fun to read!
