I saw it at a second hand store, and it looked at me and "asked" me to take it home with me, so I did. I hope I have not done something stupid.
Also what is an average price on thise 301s that everyone keeps talking about? I take it that they are ideal for quilting. Gosh - this is SO contagious!
I recently did the same when I went into a second hand store. The machine kept screaming take me home. I left the store without the pretty lady the first time since I found out that all items are half price on Saturdays. Went back two weeks later to find her waiting for me. So, now I have a second Singer 66-1 with the brown decals. I do believe they find you.:)
Just google for a free manual, that is what I did.
