nanabirdmo. you mentioned above getting a table to put your machine in to lower it. I just thought I would mention what I did. I had DH take a large board, (plywood I guess, almost an inch thick) that would fit where the leaves to my dinning room table would be. He cut a hole the size of my machine on one end. Then put what I call a shelf under to set the machine on. He finished the board so it is very smoth and put little metal pegs that fit where the holes in the table are, so the board won't tip. It works out wonderfully, as it gives me a large space to spread the quilt out, which the sewing tables I had looked at didn't have. Just a thought. By the way, your scrap buster quilt is beautiful. I love scrapy!
