I put crocheted edges on fleece blankets and dish towels. I also us an awl to make my holes for the first row.
The first row is simple single crochet around in the holes. The second row is a simple fan stitch (5 double crochet in a single crochet). So second row is single crochet, skip a couple of stitches, 5 double crochet in the next single crochet, skip a couple and single crochet in the next, then make a fan in the next stitch, just keep going. Is this as clear as mud! I think I want to try one of the
skip stitch blades. Sure would make life easier.
