Funny you should mention the X block ruler. I happen to have one. Duh!! I will check it out and see how close they are. I may post them together so we can see the difference.
Here is the pic of both the Twister and the X block rulers. The X block has three different lines you can place on seams.
It is 7 1/2" instead of 8".
