Just wondering why you chose to use 2 layers of batting? Did you do it for warmth, or loft, or something else?
I tried it for the warmth. I love cotton batting, but it never seems warm enough. I made a small difference. I won't do it again.
I would have made the same assumption too. 2 layers would seem to be twice as warm. Thank you for sharing your tip. I'll remember never to do that.
