OH, my this is very thought provoking! I have done many crafty things, lets see if I can even remember them all! Started off with sewing clothes in high school...my second project was my wedding dress. Got an A on it in home ec then wore it for my wedding 2 years later! Then I bought a book and taught myself to crochet while living in CA (hubby in Navy and gone on ship lots) to break the boredom when not working and hubby not home. Then I did some candlewicking, cross stitching, stamped embroidery, hook latch, bought one of those manual and electrical needles for needle hook latching designs (forgot what it was called), Macrame, made and sold Christmas trees out of hangers for many years - still do make a few every year because somone in the family always wants one for a teacher, nursing home resident, someone sick in hospital etc..

Then I got into rubber stamping, and making greeting cards, learned to knit, jewelry making was my thing for a few years. Like others have said on here, I think the quilting will be what I stick with the rest of my life because I also just learned to machine embroidery. I have been wanting to get rid of my other crafts just collecting dust, belive me I have thousands of dollars in scrapbooking/greeting card making supplies from the inck, stamps, paper, paint embelishments and tools. Same for the jewelry making supplies.....many bucks just laying around. And yarn for knitting and crocheting...more money just getting dusty and taking up space. Space that could be occupied by my stash of fabric. I was glad to hear someone else on here got rid of all the other stuff, I'm going to try to find someone to give it to....soon. Oh, and I almost forgot the Christmas tree ornaments that I made out of model magic and painted after I took a class. Also I made big stiffy bows on baskets for home decor. I'm sure I've missed something but it is making me tired just to think about it all. YES going to stick with quilting because it doen't get boring or routine with all the different patterns and methods to be tried, could never in a lifetime get to them all.
