My body never adjusts well to time changes, so when I was up at an ungodly hour the other day I decided to make this bag. I saw another poster had made it out of the April 2009 McCall's mag. so I decided to get mine out and go for it. It calls for 5" squares, but I had a ton of 4" so used them instead. I like how it turned out, although it still is a bit big for my tastes. I don't like how wide it is (@7"),- seems to flop open so I plan on making strings like on the end of the bow tucks bag to kinda make is stay together- that is until I have something that fills it up- then I can let it out.
I do like the look of the patchwork and I love the fall colors. We are planning a trip south next month for about a week, so will enjoy taking my fun "car" stuff to do in my cute new bag!

I don't know what that smiley face is doing in my description- it's supposed to be parenthesis
