I have been using the metallic thread this week. I use a metallic needle, loose the top tension to -2 and the thread comes off the spool horizontal. Coats and clark and also medira thread. Ver very little breakage. I also use a 350 stitch a min. If you use a faster stitch a min. it will break quicker. So slow down on the stitching speed and use your money for fabric.
