Why not just made a blanket that will cover HIM if he is a bigger guy make it a full or a queen, if he is a little guy maybe he can get away with a twin.
I know my father in law is a trucker and although he may be able to sleep on a twin size bed, he could never get warm under a twin size blanket. lol
One does need to take into consideration the size of the driver, too.
