I was lucky enough to be in the quilt shop when a representative for Anthology Fabrics showed up. I haven't done a whole lot with batiks, but this fabric was spectacular. It was thicker, like batiks usually are, but the difference was amazing. We poked a needle through it to see how easily it would go through. It was like magic the way it just slid through, great for hand quilters! (You have to work with other batiks to get the needle through.) I was amazed.
