I hate hearing this kind of news. Seems every time you turn around a person has been laid off. I'm really sorry for your situation and hope something will come along soon. In the meantime, as the others said, use your time to get things done and that, at least, will make you feel good. It's quite strange - when we work and don't have time for our craft, we wish we did.
