I was embroidering on my brother 4000D and it suddenly jarred shut down...so called the machine repair shops here for advice...got none...2 weeks behind but bring it in.
Called my dear friend and quilting instructor and she said to use dental floss and floss where the threading lanes are...gently.
I did and it started running...
I think a thread was hung in there or something because it would not thread ...now it does and is sewing fine!!!!
A tip that saved 2 weeks time and a trip across town.
Thank you Sandy...my friend....she said she learned it in a class and to do this every time I cleaned my machine....wanted to share and pass this along. Hope it will help someone sometime
