Aunt Retta, we have many members who have the cs6000. I have the Walmart SQ9000 which is the same machine but manufactured specifically for sale at Walmart. I have many, many miles on mine and am very happy with the performance. I had the EX660 before and it was also a very good machine. With both machines, I found I needed to rub machine oil on the needle holder rod from time to time. I just put a drop on my finger and rub it on the needle holder rod. If you want to read about it you can go on my profile and read my post on it for more detail. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one just like it. Mine came with a quilting package, I don't know if that is standard but I think it is. My machine does not mind machine quilting the sandwich. I did get some skipped stitches when I was putting decorative stitching on my stitch in the ditch seams but I believe it was the thread I was using and not the machine. I did get some skipped stitches when I was using the embroidery to make my sisters quilting board badge, I again, believe it was the thread I was using.
Good luck to you.
