Hi, I too have Janome machies, three of them. Bought my 8000 back in 1990, it diede in 2004, sent to to the factory 3 times, they never fixed the problem. Son, Jim bought me a 9000 in 2005 , this morning it died. I went ot embroider, it took 2 stitches and died. Will not turn on at all. I also have a Janome Gold. I love them all. But will be lost without my embroider machine. I am 76 and sew almost every day, make quilts for charity.
