She would come over about twice a week and watch the progression and always smile and tell me she really likes butterflies grandma. She will be so surprised. Cant wait to give it to her.
My mother did the same. Every time she visited I was appliqueing some birds and she told me she would love a quilt with them on it. As you can see on my avatar--My mum got her birds. I was secretly doing the quilt for her and she loves it so much it was put away from her little dog's claws.
