I have those same envelopes that I put projects in and keep in a container in my sewing closet. The envelope pictured below contains all I need for a Christmas quilt for next year. I have several other pojects under the top one. It works well for me too.

this envelope contains a QN size quilt - it just has not been sewn together yet! Look for it by the fall of next year.
