I seperate loose fabrics into solid, theme, country, floral, ect. Then they also get seperated into colorways.
On one side of the close is the loose (undetermined) fabrics and the other is the kits and collected fabrics that are for quilts already planned. My garment and home dec have been seperated into bins and are stored in another closet in a spare room.
The drawers hold stablizers, interfacings, projects in different stages and other tools that I use for sewing/cutting. But mostly fabrics. Hubby bought me this storage system from lowe's.
