I've seen the pictures on here of the beautiful Bargello quilts. I know how to do the basic ones (sew a tube, cut, unstitch one, stitch the rows) but I want to make the twisty ones like in this thread:

And with Xmas coming up, I was thinking I'd put a Bargello book on my list. I found this one at Borders:
