I don't have as big a stash as many. 90% of it fits in a 5 drawer dresser. One drawer is odds and ends, patterns, preprinted labels and a few orphan blocks. Another is just red and greens and a few Christmas prints for my someday christmas quilt. The third is mostly batiks. The 4th drawer I store fabrics like you, designated for a specific quilt I have in mind. The last drawer is yardage (any cuts 2 yards or more). I then have some more yardage designated for someday quilt backs stored in those giant ziploc storage bags that you squeeze all the air out of. I then have various WIPS and UFOs in different stages for scrap quilts also stored in ziploc baggies. My closet in my sewing room has batting and a few other crafty type supplies.
