My daughter gave me all of my two granddaughters jeans and I purchased some mens xxl shirts from thrift stores and made a quilt for her because it was so hard for her to give up the jeans. I used the front of the jeans for the front of the quilt with the zippers and on the back are all of the back pockets and labels. I did not use batting because it would make it too thick. I also use several of their favorite t-shirts. I have been beside myself with excitment because I want to give it to her NOW and not wait until Christmas. I should mention that dear daughter never gets rid of the girls clothes. I make t-shirt quilts every year for the girls but the son in law made her get rid of the jeans. I know she will be excited. But will I be able to wait until Christmas? I just don't know.
