My husband, who is 63, was never allowed in his ex-wife's kitchen, even though she didn't like to cook. And never did the grocery shopping. So now, he LOVES to grocery shop. It's like an adventure to him, whether I go with him or not. (If not, he sometimes comes home with new things he has discovered) He enjoys it so much, and gets so much happiness out of it, that we eat what he brings home- and it makes us both happy. i don't mind grocery shopping, but it's not my favorite thing to do- except with him- it's like watching a little kid. Fun.
