When I had my basement finished off I told the guy that I wanted a 60"x80" table with storage underneath and on wheels so it could be moved. He said custom cabinetry would half again the cost of the renovation, so suggested the file cabinets. I love them, have all my quilting fabric in them. The top is just plywood which I covered with 2 layers of thick wool, some batting and then the ironing board fabric. He made a big plywood base that it all sits on. The cutting table is made the same way, but has a formica top on it. The two can be rolled together for huge projects. I do window treatments for people so that is a big plus.
