A long time ago, our family had odd schedules that meant hubby got home earliest, so I would write out the week's menu on a calendar with the names and pages of the cookbooks. Otherwise we'd be eating very late waiting for me to get it done, since we didn't do fast food or frozen dinners.
These days it's reversed, he's the one with the odd schedule so I fix what I want and keep it heated for him.
