LOL. can't say I have ever takena sewing machine on a plane.. but one time while vacationing , we kinda over bought on wine... had planned to shopit home.But due to liquer taxes u can't not shop it into the state... and I was NOT leaving 1 and 1/2 CASES of wine behind! * stomping foot* Went down to Target and bought a rolling suite case and a couple of bath towels... and fit the hole case and a half of wine in the case with the towels inbetween to cushion it... got alot of funny looks but they went it thru!! Luckily it was a big enough plane they had suit storage and I coudl store it there... this was long before 9/11... couldnt do that now.......sigh... but the memories... LOL
