Personally, I'd say it wouldn't fit well. Needs to be lots longer and some wider, if possible. And you should agree between you how much of a "fall" she likes. Me, I want the cover to fall to the floor on 3 sides with enough to fold over the pillows. My sister wants it to be flat with pretty pillows on top, though she also likes it to fall to the floor. So do come to an agreement with her on size before sending/selling it.
Another thing, where does the pattern start and end, or is it an all over one? Do you have enough of that pattern to add to the quilt if necessary?
