I did my first SID today with my walking foot. Holey moley - did it help. It was a bit hard to get used to since it went much slower than I am used to but it clearly made a difference.

Now, I am going to start working on the binding. I am going to machine bind on the back, wrap that around and machine stitich it on the front.

I know the walking foot will be good on the front - when I have to keep everything lined up nice - but do I need it when I attach the first part? I already stitched around the inside of my boarder - so I am not worried about anything shifting . . what do you think?
