I looked into donating quilts to our nursing center as well, but they told me that due to health reasons, there are restrictions to what is donated.. You might look into your center there where you live, and ask if they accept quilts, especially if they are sewn with materials that are not according to nursing policy ( some fabrics burn ,ect).. I had to adjust my thinking to donating here, because the rules were so strigent... Just a thought.
