You could try re-washing it on a gentle cycle and then gently stretching it back out to shape and air dry it. This sometimes works with sweaters, it may work with your quilt.

exactly, rewash and "block it" post a picture for us.
i would give it to her after you try to fix it..it was made with love..and maybe it will bring some tears and laughter.
sorry, i just saw the picture..it is a beautiful quilt, she will be wrapped in love when she snuggles in it!!
