I guess my eyesight is worse than I knew, cause it looks good in the pic. I'd be proud to have it on my bed.
Can you press...steam etc & if you still aren't happy,just tell MIL the story.Let her take it from there. I'm betting she'll be so happy that you cared enough to make the quilt.You can buy a bottle of "wrinkle release".....sold in laundry dept. Supposed to take wrinkles out of fabric. You could also take it to a dry cleaner for an opinion.Buck up....it's lovely....you did good !

I'm going to try ironing it and stretching the heck out of it...But I don't want my mother in law to have to keep up such high maintenance every time she washes it! I'll see how it does to wash and hang to dry...if it is still all screwy, I'll have to think of something else for her...
