I would love to see some pictures of these quilts!!! They sound wonderful and with all the work put into them it would make a great "show."
My second quilt I made was a wedding present for my daughter. It was a California King size: 122x98. Even tho it was the second started, it was the seventh finished. I got it to my daughter exactly on her first anniversary!
In the second picture below, you can see the block I made a mistake on. I put the flying geese on backwards. It turned out looking like a house instead of a star, so I hand embroidered windows, a door and flowers. I embroidered "House of Bleak" on it. My daughter married a man with the last name "Bleak" (pronounced Blake) and they always referred to his daughter as a princess in the House of Bleak. Thought I did pretty well covering up my goof!
