In 2006 I joined the Thimbleberry Club at my quilt shop and made the BOM "Vintage" queen sized quilt. Each block was embroidered, then machine pieced and I am still hand quilting it. The quilt plan that year was to make 2 blocks each month, different set up for the back to make it reversible. I made the second set into a lap quilt for my daughter. Had that one quilted at the shop so she would have it in this lifetime. They also basted the big quilt for me on the longarm. In the meantime, we bought a new bed, and I have to add another border, probably QAYG to finish it off, hopefully next year.
