2 really come to mind. A queen size 72 block sampler quilt that I machine pieced, but hand quilted for a raffle at my son's school. Some blocks took me 3-4 hours each. Then, a very large wall hanging for my friends 40th birthday. A variety of blocks, 4 of houses she lived in, her 3 boys hand outlines, some that I had friends write something on, birthday cake, tea cup, tea pot and in the center of it all, a replica of her and her husband dressed as bride and groom. Some machine pieced, some hand sewn and all hand quilted. It was worth all of the work, when she cried her eyes out when she got it.
