I think I spent about $350 to make a Cal King quilt for my daughter and her husband, I let them pick the fabric out at our local shop, well the one closest to home, only 45 minutes away, it was about $12.00 a yard, by the time I added shams, and a storage bag for it, I am very glad to have made it for them
