All of my squares are 6 1/2". I actually started with 5 different selections of fabric and ran out and made a mad dash to Wal-Mart and they didn't have ANY of the same kind so I purchased some that was similar. Then, after I finished the quilt that I had planned, I thought it needed a border so then I added that and just barely had enough material to finish it. Whew! LOL.

Yes this was definitely doable in a short time. I think these will make great Christmas Gifts. lol
