I made that in 2006 - and its holding up pretty well.
I've washed it several times - in a little tiny washer/dryer combo in my apartment in florida, in my mom's big pretty hd washer, in my sister's regular washer and at the laundromat.
Mine & my sister's i would wash and dry alone, my mom's and the laundromat i wash with other flannel quilts.
no problems - though in the little dryers i would clean the lint trap about halfway through.
