I belong to a small group ( 6 people) that meets the first and 3rd Tues. of each month in our homes...taking turns. We started out with the hostess fixing lunch ( we meet from 10 am to about 3 pm), but soon decided to brown bag lunch and the hostess is responsible for drinks and dessert. We work on our own projects most of the time, but sometimes decide to do a few charity quilts. We exchange Christmas gifts ( $ 10 limit) during the season, give fat quarters for birthdays, and generally have become more like sisters, than friends. Sometimes we take a road trip to several quilt shops and have lunch for the day. We really enjoy our fellowship and fun.
